Celebrating 30 Years Part 4

Heartland Trust Company turns 30 this year, and we’ve accumulated a bit of history as we enter our fourth decade. Each quarterly newsletter this year has contained a feature on one of our old locations. This is the final installment.

After growing to ten employees, more space was needed once again. In August 2005, HTC chose to move into a former State Farm Insurance claims processing office located near the highly trafficked 13th Avenue and 25th Street junction in south Fargo. Initially, HTC operated out of the west half of the building, with a local law firm occupying the east side.

In 2014, with the addition of a 16th employee, the law firm moved out and the entire building became Heartland Trust Company. A complete interior renovation was done in 2018 to update the form and function of the building, and a heating system and new roof were added in 2019 and 2020, respectively.

From two employees at a carwash/laundromat to 25 employees occupying a 10,000 square-foot office, it’s been a wonderful journey over the past 30 years. We’re looking forward to what the next 30 has in store for us!
